One of the best ways to develop the skills necessary to take your game to the next level is to sign up for private lessons. Work one on one with one of our staff professionals to get your game on track and to help you get ready for your next challenge on the tennis court. Private lessons are scheduled individually with each professional of your choice. Please contact them directly to get started.
Offered for beginner to advanced participants. Beginning lessons will focus on learning the different strokes and also learning the basics of singles and doubles play. You will also learn to keep score and to understand how to play a tiebreaker. All other levels are available as well. Group lessons are scheduled with the professional of your choice. If you have a group of 3 or more individuals that are interested, please contact the professional of your choice to get started.
The benefits of Cardio Tennis are:
- First and foremost Cardio Tennis is a fitness class where participants consistently elevate their heart rates into their aerobic training zones.
- Women typically burn 450 – 550 calories an hour. Men usually 500 – 650 calories per hour.
- Cardio Tennis is similar to interval training which is periods of high intensity followed by short periods of rest. Interval training is the best way to train for optimal health and fitness
- While participants are playing tennis, their focus is primarily on getting a great workout
- All levels and abilities are welcome to this class.
