FAC features two swimming pools for your fitness and leisure fun. Our six lane lap pool is covered and heated to 80 degrees in the winter to give local swimmers the ability to swim year round. The lap pool is used primarily for lap swimming, swim team practice, swim lessons, water fitness classes and swim conditioning and stroke clinics. If family leisure time is your pleasure, you will certainly have fun in our family leisure pool located across the deck complete with a fun fountain and two water slides.
In our lap pool 66 lengths or 33 laps = 1 mile.
We offer lessons to everyone, regardless of age or skill level. Whether you’re looking for one-on-one instruction, or prefer to learn in a group environment, we’ve got the class for you.
Sharks Swim Team
The FAC Sharks Swim Team is a developmental swim team that teaches competitive swimming skills in a semi-competitive environment. The Sharks Swim Team is a great way for kids to enhance stroke technique and efficiency while having fun with fitness in a team building environment. For more information, email Aquatics@fayac.com
Our coaching staff is committed to facilitating each athlete, regardless of age or ability, with the skills necessary to reach their maximum potential in the water. Our goal is to provide the ultimate platform for competitive swimming & tailor workouts to meet the needs of all.
In order for your child to join the Sharks Swim Team, he or she must be 4-18 years old and able to swim the length of the lap pool (25 yards) and have a general knowledge of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.

2020 FALL program details
Monday through Thursday: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
You may choose to swim up to 4 practices each week. We recommend a minimum of 2-3 practices per week.
FAC Sharks has placed 1st in our division in 2017 and 2018!
Summer Sharks swim team fee:
Members: $60 per month
Non-Members: $75 per month

Our experienced instructors are committed to creating a safe and fun environment for everyone to improve their aquatic prowess.
Madison is originally from Kansas City Missouri. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Kinesiology and was a member of the Razorback Swim and Dive team. She is a two-time Olympic Trial qualifier and specializes heavily in breaststroke. She is a CSCAA Scholar All-American Honorable Mention, 2015 Missouri State Champion, and 2015-2019 SEC Academic Honor Roll member. She has been teaching lessons at FAC for the past 4 years, she is the head choach of the FAC sharks swim team, and she is the FAC Aquatics Director.
Ingrid Van Eps
Ingrid swam competitively in Virginia for 9 years, and first taught swimming at the age of 14. Having taught at FAC since 2009, her clients range from 6 months to 65 years. She enjoys working with special needs, parent/baby classes, and hesitant swimmers emphasizing water comfort and safety
