FAC features two swimming pools for your fitness and leisure fun. Our six lane lap pool is covered and heated to 80 degrees in the winter to give local swimmers the ability to swim year round. The lap pool is used primarily for lap swimming, swim team practice, swim lessons, water fitness classes and swim conditioning and stroke clinics. If family leisure time is your pleasure, you will certainly have fun in our family leisure pool located across the deck complete with a fun fountain and two water slides.
In our lap pool 66 lengths or 33 laps = 1 mile.
During the fall and winter, we offer private lessons that may be set to meet your schedule. We offer private lessons for adults and kids of all ages. If you are a swimmer that wants to improve your strokes or train for a triathlon, we’ve got you covered. It’s never too late to learn how to swim!

Sharks Swim Team
The FAC Sharks Swim Team is a developmental swim team that teaches competitive swimming skills in a semi-competitive environment. The Sharks Swim Team is a great way for kids to enhance stroke technique and efficiency while having fun with fitness in a team building environment. For more information, email Aquatics@fayac.com
Our coaching staff is committed to facilitating each athlete, regardless of age or ability, with the skills necessary to reach their maximum potential in the water. Our goal is to provide the ultimate platform for competitive swimming & tailor workouts to meet the needs of all.
In order for your child to join the Sharks Swim Team, he or she must be 4-18 years old and able to swim the length of the lap pool (25 yards) and have a general knowledge of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke.

2022 FALL program details
Monday through Thursday: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
You may choose to swim up to 4 practices each week. We recommend a minimum of 2-3 practices per week.
Fall/ Winter Sharks Swim Team fee:
Members: $65 per month
Non-Members: $80 per month
